A Healthcare Game Even Ron Wyden Can Play

OK, it was a stellar three-day weekend, and nobody's ready to be back at work. Here's an online time-killer that can help waste three minutes of your afternoon and get you pissed off again about the state of American healthcare.

The time peg? As Jeff Mapes reports, a town-hall meeting Sunday with U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) in Forest Grove got interrupted by surgical mask-wearing protesters demanding a Canadian-style single-payer health system.

(For those who didn't read our 2007 cover story, Wyden has a plan that seeks to reform healthcare while leaving intact much of the current system.)

All of which means: It's time to play You Bet Your Health. (And to note that the California Nurses Association and the National Nurses Organizing Committee agree with Wyden's protesters in supporting a single-payer system.) To read more about the back-and-forth between Wyden and opponents of his health care proposal, pick up tomorrow's WW.
