The New York Times that is, trying to drum up tourists' interest in visting Portland because, well, people ride bikes here and like coffee and like Powell's Books.

A Times article last week seemed to suggest the Gray Lady's crush on Portland might be waning but today's gusher proves we're still BFF. Yay!
