Hummer Bummer: Live PDX not so "live" anymore.

My mailbox has delivered bad media news once again.

Liz Hummer , (above right) the former editor of PDX magazine and more recently the editor of LivePDX , the web component of the Meredith Group's KPTV and KPDX networks, has been let go. According to her note Hummer wasn't given any information about plans for the site, except that they are "restructuring" the internet departments and that the site will be considerably less involved, "if it continues to exist at all."

Hummer, now looking for any freelance, project, contract, part-time or full-time work that may be out there including writing, editing, copyediting, research, marketing, or (OMG) public relations.
