Chantel Eldredge and Deborah Magarella, best friends for eight years now, designed their cosmetics company with a different market in mind—the geeks. Last month, the Hillsboro-based Geek Chic Cosmetics officially launched with several lines of video game-inspired eye shadows, blushes and foundations.

For instance, the Zelda-influenced Hyrule Set of six eye shadow colors includes a golden yellow called "Triforce," a Link-inspired forest green called "Chosen One," and the deep rusty red, "Desert Chic," which takes its name from the game's princess-in-disguise. And the Mushroom Kingdom Set features a variety of colors inspired by the Super Mario games ("It's-A-Me" is a particularly lovely bright red).

The two designers are dedicated to providing natural, earth-friendly, cruelty-free makeup to the gamer population but emphasize that they're glad to give anyone, regardless of gender or D&D level, the chance to use their products.

All I can say is "WoW."
