Video: New Bloods, "Doubles"

A very cool, very Portland video for Kill Rock Stars signees (and Best New Band finalists from 2007) New Bloods popped up on YouTube the other day. The video, directed by Donovan Vim Crony, features the band's good friends, Magic Johnson, as zine-makers and New Bloods enthusiasts. The house featured in the video is the HOTBOAT home venue (upcoming shows listed here).





If you'll remember, our own Anika Sabin visited the "set" of the video shoot some weeks ago, and brought photos and stories back.

I gotta say, I know I'm a bit late to catch this train, but this song and this band are both really growing on me (and the adorable video only makes me like 'em more).
