Willamette Week presents PULSE

DJ Lamar Leroy, Blossom, CoCo Columbia and Rare Diagram play Holocene, February 18

Willamette Week announces PULSE, a quarterly music event curated by Willamette Week's music editor, showcasing the diverse and talented musicians and producers under the radar and on the rise within the Portland music scene.

Hosted by Holocene, PULSE shines a spotlight on an eclectic mix of hip-hop, R&B, soul and their extended genres. Expect up and coming MC's and DJ's, as well as rock bands with rhythm and creative individuals marching to the beat of their own drum machine. Sponsored by Henry's Hard soda, PULSE is met to compile diverse, unique acts for one night of local talent discovery.

The February 18 lineup includes DJ Lamar Leroy, Blossom, CoCo Columbia and headliner Rare Diagram, who, in a November 2015 review, WW said is like "Elliot Smith meets Steely Dan, but at a carnival. Pavement and Queen, are there, too."
