Cheap Eats 2005

The folks at this Italian pizzeria meets Lebanese cafe (formerly the Long Island) have taken diversity to heart, and you'll love them for it. Perfectly crisp-crusted pizzas, from slices ($2.50-$2.75) to whole pies ($9.95 and up), share the menu with outstanding Lebanese picks. The vegetarian mezza platter ($8) is loaded with creamy hummus, baba ghanouj, stuffed grape leaves, crunchy falafel and tabbouleh. Meat mezza ($9.95) includes the above, plus buttery chicken shawarma and allspice-scented beef kafta. (AP)
