An unemployed man-child who wears tight
pants and is obsessed with his bicycle? Sounds like a typical
Portlander. No surprise, then, to see Pee-wee's Big Adventure
receive the Lebowski Fest treatment via the third annual Pee-wee's Big
Weekend, a celebration of the 1985 Tim Burton flick that brought the
irreverent genius of Paul Reubens' stage act and later kids' TV show to
the big screen for the first and, as far as everyone is concerned, only
time. (Big Top Pee-wee? Never heard of it.) Come in costume, and tell 'em Large Marge sent ya. PG. Bagdad, 10 pm Saturday, May 28, and 1 pm Sunday, May 29.
