Vessel

1979 NW Vaughn St., Suite B, 503-410-7396, vesselpdx.com. 11 am-7 pm daily.

It doesn't make sense to put a dispensary in out-of-the-way Industrial Northwest, but Vessel makes perfect sense here. Flanked by two glass-manufacturing companies, it resembles a spotless Nordic pharmacy and caters to people who know their pot and will make a trip for good seed or concentrates. Even though Vessel opened to the general public last October, it still feels like a medicinal shop. Vessel's "patient care representatives" sell a lot of seed, concentrates and edibles in a small, white space with walls set at weird angles. It's like being inside an origami crane. The pre-roll list is short and prices might seem high, but that's understandable since a lot of the flower is organic, and is grown in-house and indoors. Another perk of sharing a building with a glassmaker? It's the best place to get custom pieces made by Elements Glass next door.
