MSN Writer Who Has Apparently Been Living Under a Rock Visits Portland, Loves It

A lifestyle blog post on MSN used 45 slides to gush about us.

Portland being the hip city that gets talked about in online travel pieces isn’t exactly breaking news.

That didn't stop MSN Lifestyle blogger Kathryn McLamb from preparing a slideshow—complete with 45(!) food and building pics—dedicated to our city's coolness.

References to Portland's "funky vibes" and abundant hiking trails are constant, leaving the impression that this may be their first time hearing the world "Portland." Seriously, we've been the "cool" city for…at least, like seven years?

"If your experience is anything like mine," the post concludes, you'll most likely "consider packing your bags for Portland, permanently!" She's right. In fact, many people have already done this.

But we're always happy to have more!
