Films have been shown in this location under different ownership and various names since 1914, when it opened as the Palm. Cinemagic features only three screenings a day, showing first-run films at second-run prices in a single-screen theater mid-Hawthorne. Concessions include a variety of beers and ciders on tap and Portland's best popcorn.
