Hollywood Theatre is that rare art house that treats highbrow films and total camp with equal affection, and one of only a few left in the country equipped to screen 70 mm film. Its $4 taps are some of the cheapest in town, and Sizzle Pie slices are served straight from the adjoining pizzeria. The 93-year-old theater's special events are much beloved: a pulpy movie night hosted by drag clown Carla Rossi, a maligned obscurity unearthed by Wyrd War, or a Mississippi Records screening or lecture.
