A former racetrack, Irving isn't especially large or distinguished among local parks, but its basketball courts have long been famed for fiercely competitive games. The covered court sees action even during the rainy season, but true ballers vie for time on the two outdoor courts that were recently refurbished by Nike and the Blazers.
