Laurelhurst Park

Laurelhurst Park (Sam Gehrke)

Southeast César E. Chávez Boulevard and Stark Street.

Ever-verdant, Laurelhurst Park runs from South Stark to Ankeny Street and 33rd Avenue to Chavez Boulevard, and is broken into two distinct parts. One contains a playground, basketball court, tennis court and field. The other holds a swooping group of hills, dog parks, picnic tables, walking paths and the duck-filled Firwood Lake. On sunny days, the park is filled with just what you'd expect: locals soaking up the sun, playing games and going for runs with their dogs.
