MM is perched far from truly lawless lands, but well past where hipsters fear to tread. Its owners lived next door to successive iterations of failing dives before taking it upon themselves to personalize the ramshackle roadhouse with punk shows, fresh Mexican, an appealing tap list, classic arcade games, and a bartop collage of '70s superhero comics that, taken together, endlessly reward thousand-yard stares.
PORTLAND NEEDS WILLAMETTE WEEK.
NOW WW NEEDS YOU.
The need for strong, independent local journalism is more urgent than ever.
Our readers rely on our comprehensive news reporting. However, COVID-19
has eliminated most of the revenue that funds our work.
