Splendorporium

3421 SE 21st Ave., 503-935-2885, splendorporium.net. 11 am-7 pm Monday-Friday.

An offshoot of youth-centered nonprofit Art4Life, the Splendorporium is both a museum of works created by artists under the age of 18 and a more traditional gallery curated with an eye for kid-friendly shows. Splendorporium's well-attended First Friday opening parties often feature attractions like Napoleon the therapy alpaca, and its last holiday sale featured table vendors, Pacific Pug Rescue pooches and the Portland Lesbian Choir.
