Portland’s Generosity Is $8.86 Million Strong in Latest Give!Guide

The 2024 campaign sets a new standard for generosity in the Portland metro area.

Readers, you did it again!

As the clock struck midnight on Jan. 1, Willamette Week’s Give!Guide officially wrapped up its 2024 campaign with an awe-inspiring milestone: $8,867,393 raised for 250 incredible local nonprofits.

This remarkable show of generosity came from 16,335 donors, proving once again the strength of our community when we come together. With most donations at just $10, it’s clear that every contribution, no matter the size, makes a profound impact.

This year’s campaign marked Give!Guide’s 21st, and what a way to celebrate: the highest total ever raised in our history and the seventh consecutive year of record-breaking success.

We’re still finalizing the numbers (stay tuned for a fuller recap in WW on Jan. 8), but for now, we simply want to say: thank you. Your generosity makes Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington counties a better place for all of us to call home.
