Lawsuit Looms Over Bullseye Glass Co.

It appears the controversy over heavy-metals emissions from Bulleye Glass Co. is headed for court.

After weeks of public outcry and hand-wringing from politicians, it appears the controversy over heavy-metals emissions from Bullseye Glass Co. is headed for court.

Keller Rohrback, a Seattle law firm, is looking into a class action lawsuit on behalf of families living near Bullseye's factory in the Southeast Portland neighborhood of Brooklyn.

"We are actively investigating what options residents who live near Bullseye Glass might have to hold the company accountable and to ensure that it doesn't continue to operate in a way that potentially puts people and their property at risk," Matthew Preusch, a Keller Rohrback lawyer, tells WW.

Preusch, a Lake Oswego native now living in California, used to be an environmental reporter for The Oregonian.
