La Bonita

Family-owned and newly renovated, La Bonita offers some of the best Mexican grub in town and stands tall in the jam-packed hullabaloo of Northeast Alberta Street. Burritos ($2.50-$6) are log-sized. Tacos hit the spot, particularly the slow-cooked lengua ($1.95). Taquitos come crispy and fully loaded, while a delicious two-enchilada platter ($7.95) comes smothered in traditional red or spicy green sauce with rice and beans. Don't forget the guacamole (75 cents), and prepare to feast for paltry pesos. (APK)
