Portlandia Announces Season 4 Cameos

The forthcoming season of the IFC show will feature appearances by Kirsten Dunst, Paul Allen and Dan Savage.

To the delight of seemingly everyone but Portlanders themselves, the twee machine that is Portlandia just keeps churning, and today the show announced the cameos for its fourth season.

As reported by Spin, the next season of the IFC show will feature cameos from Maya Rudolph, Kirsten Dunst, Savage Love columnist Dan Savage and 48th richest person in the world Paul Allen, among others. We’ll also see a few Trail Blazers, the very team owned by Allen—though no word yet on which players will be ditching their jerseys for plaid flannel and bad wigs (on season two, LaMarcus Aldrige played Penny Marshall’s bologna-loving boyfriend).

Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein have also corralled a heap of musical guests, including Jeff Tweedy of Wilco, K.D. Lang and the Monkees’ Michael Nesmith. No sign, it seems, of DJ Sam Adams, who’s had a recurring role as the mayor’s dweeby assistant. And, alas, no DJ Sad Eyez either.

Head over to Spin for the complete list. Portlandia's fourth season begins Feb. 27.
