Snow Shuts Down First Thursday

Today's cold, snowy weather is affecting the First Thursday art walk in the Pearl District and Old Town. Most art galleries are closing early and will not be open during the 6-8:30pm window when they normally welcome First Thursday art-goers. 


Among the galleries that will not be open: Laura Russo Gallery, Elizabeth Leach Gallery, Augen Gallery, Froelick Gallery, Charles A. Hartman Fine Art, Blue Sky, Nine Gallery, the Museum of Contemporary Craft, Butters Gallery, and Blackfish. 

As of 1pm, Laura Russo Gallery and PDX Contemporary was among the few holdouts planning to be open as scheduled for First Thursday.

This is an incomplete list. If you’re in question about any other gallery not listed, give them a call before braving the elements!
