Tilt

1355 NW Everett St., 894-9528, tiltitup.com. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night daily. 3449 N Anchor St., No. 200, 285-8458. Lunch daily, dinner Monday-Saturday, brunch Saturday-Sunday.

Tilt is the famished extrovert's dream: pounding electronic music, people swarming everywhere at every hour of the day, a strong tap and cocktail list, and meals so cartoonishly large they ought to come with their own cardiologist. The Big Tilt ($11), a double cheeseburger roughly the size of a high-top sneaker, is too much food for two people, and the trough-sized large fries ($6) could easily feed four. The atmosphere in the Pearl spot at Tilt is very, uh, assertive, meaning that if you're uncomfortable in nightclublike spaces, it might be best to go to the Swan Island location. If you want to bro down, crush some burgs and Old Germans ($3) and hit the town, it's time to get Tilted, Pearl style.
