It's Not Too Late to See Star Wars Tonight

Don't put away your Obi-Wan cloak just yet.

So, you didn't make any plans. You didn't want to get your hopes up after that day you skipped all your classes junior year of high school and stood in line for tickets to Episode I. That pain, that disappointment was almost too much to bear.

But now, the reviews are coming in. And it seems that maybe, just maybe, J.J. Abrams has given you back your childhood.

One problem: you never bought tickets to the movie.

Yes, tickets are pretty much sold out for the show tonight. But there are some loopholes. There are still tickets to Portland Strikes Back, "an epic viewing party for the premier of Star Wars: The Force Awakens," which will involve a pub crawl, a scavenger hunt, a costume contest, an appearance by the Unipiper, and tickets to the 10:45 pm show at the Bagdad Theater on Hawthorne Boulevard, which you will enter through the secret rear entrance from the Backstage bar after the 9 pm costume contest.

Tickets are a steal at $19.77 each (1977! get it?) and 3-D tickets at Regal cost $14.50.

Speaking of which, if you have your heart set on 3D, there appear to suddenly be tickets available to a 9 pm show at Regal Pioneer Place. Get them before they are gone, which will likely be momentarily.

Maybe the force be with you, etc. etc.
