Your Quarantine Pod Need More Distance During Your Staycation? You Can Now Rent a Whole Floor at the Hoxton Hotel.

The hotel also recently reopened its rooftop taco bar, Tope, under the direction of a new executive chef.

A Portland hotel is offering what might be the ideal staycation during a pandemic, when physical distancing is a must: You can now rent out an entire floor.

The Hoxton's latest overnight package allows guests to reserve one story of the property at 15 NW 4th Ave. on the edge of Old Town, which includes 20 rooms. The price tag to jump on 20 different beds, try out 20 different walk-in showers and streak through the halls without worrying about shocking neighbors: $2,020 per night.

Ideally, that tab would be split among a small group who've been quarantined together.

If that sounds a little too spendy for your budget, the Hoxton has a more accessible getaway: The hotel recently reopened its rooftop taco bar, Tope, which is under the direction of a new executive chef.

BJ Smith, who previously ran the Smokehouse Group of restaurants and appeared in Season 14 of Bravo's Top Chef, has added new dishes to the top-floor eatery's array of options, like chipotle smoked ribs and scallop aguachile. He is also refreshing the menus for the property's main restaurant, Lovely Rita, and basement bar, 2NW5, which are scheduled to reopen later this year.

The Hoxton's coffee shop is also now serving guests, as well as the new Hox Bottle Shop, offering an assortment of local and Old World wines that can be taken to go or enjoyed in the lobby for anyone staying the night.
