John Bradley Resigns Presidency of Arlington Club, Gives Up Membership

The Arlington Club today sent an email to all members notifying them that the president of the club's board, John Bradley, is giving up his board position and resigning from the downtown businessman's club which celebrates its 148th birthday next week.

As WW reported last week, Bradley, 60, the CEO of R&H Construction, was arrested at his Northwest Portland home on Sept. 30 on domestic violence charges.

Bradley is due in court on Dec. 3, where he is expected to change his initial "not guilty" plea to misdemeanor charges of assault in the fourth degree, menacing and harassment.

Dear Arlington Club Member:

Arlington Club President John Bradley, has resigned from his position and club membership, effective November 30 for personal reasons.

As many of you know, John values his relationship with Arlington Club and our many members. However, he feels that his resignation is in the best interest of the club.

During the past week several club members have been contacted by the media. We urge you to refer all media calls regarding Arlington Club and its members to Mike Legg, who will work with the Board to respond.
