Damian Lillard Celebrates Playoff Berth by Shopping in Old Town, Hugging a Portland Cop

Lillard shops at Compound Gallery, apparently.

On Wednesday, Damian Lillard led the Portland Trail Blazers to a wholly unexpected playoff berth.

On Thursday, he celebrated by shopping local—and posing for a photo with a thrilled police officer.

Portland Police Officer Rashida Saunders posted a photo of her and Lillard on Thursday evening. He's holding a bag from Portland sneaker and skater shop Compound Gallery.

Saunders also described how the photo happened. It's a pretty charming anecdote of Old Town life.
