Multiple outlets are reporting that Donald Trump says he's headed to Portland's most Washington-based suburb in early May.
According to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, "Trump disclosed plans to visit Vancouver on May 7 as state Sen. Don Benton and other campaign supporters listened on a speakerphone while gathered in the southwest Washington city."
The Columbian reports that during the call, which was not taped, Trump told supporters that "If we could get Washington, it would be unbelievable," and "I think I can be there on the seventh, Don, and we will really fight to win it."
Though Washington already held its Democratic caucus—Bernie Sanders won that won after a bird alighted on him in Portland—the Republican caucus isn't until May 24.
The Trump campaign has yet to confirm if Trump will actually be in Vancouver on May 7 or where he will be or what the bird situation is there.
