Knute Buehler Releases First TV Ad In Governor’s Campaign

State Representative from Bend looking past GOP primary to contest with incumbent Gov. Kate Brown.

State Rep. Knute Buehler (R-Bend) faces competition from his right in the May 15 GOP primary for governor from Bend businessman Sam Carpenter and former Navy pilot Greg Wooldridge.

But in his first state-wide television ad, Buehler, an orthopedic surgeon, has made it clear he's not concerned about challenges from those two and instead is focused on incumbent Gov. Kate Brown, a Democrat.
