Cheap Eats 2010

Aww, it feels just like home at Mio Sushi! I mean, it feels like somebody's home with a sushi restaurant smack in the middle of it: This charming Northwest Portland mainstay (one of seven Mio locations in the metro area) not only features delicious and adventurous fare on the cheap (the $7.95 sushi pizza), it does so in the cozy confines of a small remodeled house. The solid sushi meets items like sticky-sweet yakisoba ($8.95 for a heaping plate) to give Mio plenty of regulars. Bored by sushi and udon? A good ramen bowl ($6-$7) is hard to find in Northwest Portland, for whatever reason, and Mio does them up right.
