India Oven (3450 SE Belmont St., 872-9687) The lunch wrap is a cheap eat and will fill you up. Vegetable biriyani and malai kofta make for a delicious north indian-style dinner.

Lentil Garden (18033 NW Evergreen Parkway, Beaverton, 531-0802) A wide selection of South and North Indian delicacies—especially during the lunch buffet, this is the best bang for your buck!

Dwaraka (3962 SE Hawthorne Blvd., 230-1120) Newest Indian Restaurant in Southeast Portland. The ex-chef of Swagat restaurant takes it to the next level by opening his own place.
