VIDEO: 90 minutes in 90 seconds

We ask Timbers fans to describe the game they just witnessed, whether at bars around town or outside the stadium. And then through the magic of editing, we bring (their version of) the match back to you in 90 seconds or less.

Emotions were running high for Portland Timbers fans on Saturday, August 3, against Cascadia rival Vancouver Whitecaps at Jeld-Wen Field. The 1-1 draw was treated as a loss by the green-clad supporters leaving the stadium. In the 15th minute, Timbers midfielder Diego Valeri was kneed in the face by Brad Rusin. Timbers made the first goal with a header by defender Ryan Johnson in the 49th minute. In the 69th minute, the Whitecaps tied it by capitalizing on  a corner kick with a header by Jordan Harvey. For a brief second, it looked like defender Pa Modou Kah scored a second Timbers goal in the 79th minute, but he was ruled offside.

Here, fans recount the action.
