Transplanted from Southern California, Trap Kitchen made a lot of noise in Portland when it opened in 2018—and rightly so. The Compton-based food cart serves up soul food—chicken and waffles, hot wings, burgers and more. Fridays here mean Pineapple Bowl Day, with meaty pineapple fried rice served in a hollowed-out half pineapple. $$.
