EAT: Dreamer's Marketplace--a Future MLK Cart Bonanza?

Just when we were getting used to our new cart pod crush on Refuel Station North, word comes that another big food cart pod is about to open. This time it's Dreamer's Marketplace in an old bank parking lot on the west side of Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard between Northeast Knott and Graham Streets. The outdoor marketplace, which will also host arts and craft vendors and live music, holds its grand opening on Saturday, June 12, and will run Saturdays and Sundays through the end of summer. According to Dreamers general manager Eric Starr, the market is the brainchild of property leaseholders Karen and Peter Disciascio, the co-owners of the CrossFit training center that last occupied the location.

Starr was nice enough to email me a few more mouthwatering details about the new venture. Viking Soul Food and a chicken n' waffles cart? I am so there.more
