Ethics Commission Delays Decision on Patricia McCaig

Patricia McCaig

As expected, the Oregon Government Ethics Commission this morning extended its investigation into the activities of Patricia McCaig, Gov. John Kitzhaber's advisor on the Columbia River Crossing project, for another month.

A WW cover story last year described the ways in which McCaig, who in addition to advising Kitzhaber, draw a paycheck from the engineering firm David Evans and Associates, the top contractor on the CRC.

Here's the letter for Ethic Commission investigator Deborah Tuss seeking more time:

Ethics Commission Director Ron Bersin says the commission will address the McCaig matter at its next regularly scheduled meeting, on Feb. 14, rather than holding a special meeting.
