A solid brewpub isn't something you'd expect to find out in Tanasbourne, an area where you'd expect Old Chicago or Buffalo Wild Wings (it has both) to have the best tap list. Thankfully, Golden Valley opened up its second brewpub just off Sunset Highway near this stretch of strip malls and Bridgeport Village's slightly less bougie sister, Streets of Tanasbourne. Bisected into roughly equally sized bar and restaurant side, Golden Valley is a local happy-hour and dinner favorite. (The bar has been completely full about half the times I've visited over the years.) While the tap list is filled with conventional and seemingly pedestrian stylings, don't be fooled: That Beaverton Blonde is a 2015 GABF gold-medal winner.
