Nancy Hales Is One of the Biggest Donors to Portland Mayoral Candidate Sarah Iannarone

Monday's filings show $15,900 in contributions, including $1,000 from developer Dike Dame, a founding member of First Stop's advisory council.

Nancy Hales, wife of Portland Mayor Charlie Hales, dropped $2,500 on the campaign of Sarah Iannarone, the wild-card candidate in the May primary who is also Nancy Hales' assistant at Portland State University.

Joining Nancy Hales as top donors to Iannarone's campaign are architect Michael McCulloch and John Carroll.

Carroll sits on the advisory board of the PSU program the first lady runs with Iannarone called First Stop Portland.

Last week, Iannarone announced she'd raised $20,000—far short of her $100,000 goal.

Monday's filings show $15,900 in contributions, including $1,000 from developer Dike Dame, a founding member of First Stop's advisory council. An additional $1,000 came from CMW Holdings, which lists its address as headquarters for Williams and Dame Development.

Update: Iannarone's state records were updated later on Monday, Feb. 22 to show she'd reported $21,000, not $15,900, in contributions.
