This isn't the type of bar you come to when you're feeling peckish—it's the place you go after a long workday when you forgot to eat and don't feel like grabbing another meal for a week. It's $7.75 for three giant, piping-hot pieces of fried fowl and four jojos which are, no shit, actually half a potato, deep-fried on the spot and ready to burn the roof of your mouth. The bar also doesn't disappoint, with plenty of stiff $4 wells (served in 16-ounce glasses) and tacky paraphernalia like a stuffed marlin and fox above the bar.
What to drink: A pitcher of PBR while you wait for your chicken order.
