For gawd's sake, pay attention!

In May 2005, fewer than one in five Multnomah County voters bothered to turn in a ballot. This time around, can we do a little better? Please?

We'd be lying if we suggested the fate of Western civilization is on the line. It's not. But Portland's future form of government and the cast of characters who make decisions for 60,000 kids in the Portland, David Douglas and Parkrose school districts are.

Besides, we've spent countless hours with the candidates and those who support and oppose the various measures on the May 15 mail-in ballot just so you don't have to. The least you can do when you get your ballots this week is vote!
