You'll find no trendy clothes in Nobby's, unless nurses' scrubs become the next hipster affectation—the staff of Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital often pops in around midnight for a bag of food to go. The bar boasts the "best burger in town" (and it is delicious), but the treasure of the menu is the chicken club sandwich: a battered breast with thick bacon and tangy honey mustard ($6). When the televisions aren't displaying Keno results, they're tuned to ESPN; this is the best spot to watch sports on Trendy-Third, and tables are regularly reserved for softball leagues. The mood has been muted since the Mariners went into their late-season meltdown ("Oh, no" has been regularly and repeatedly muttered.) But it's nothing a $2.50 pint—and football season—can't cure.
