Though she recently relocated to LA, the former Funniest 5 winner says it felt like it made sense to hold the album release show here in Portland.

The title of Miller's album comes from a bit about why Miller never imagined becoming a trophy wife. Solid Gold was recorded over the summer at the Alberta Street Pub, and features older as well as newer jokes. Released by Kill Rock Stars, Miller says the album is coming out at a good time for her: "I hope people's Black Friday spending habits extend to my record."
