Alan Singley and Pants Machine: Sept. 16 - Moscow, ID - Nuart Theatre

It seems everyone in the Lucky Madison crew went to Washington State University: Talkdemonic's Kevin O'Connor, Quiet Countries, Wilding, Sam Shauer of ...worms, DJ Tan't and on and on. Anyway, we spent our afternoon in Pullman, WA. We had our full color picture and a great article written by Courtney Harding featured in the NW Inlander which is this area's big weekly. The band we were playing with, Ether Hour, had done the groundwork of putting up posters all over town. Gus bought some canned white cheddar cheese called "Cougar Gold." Gus' sister lives in Pullman so she let us use her showers and gave us lots of food and drink, and some of the best homemade cookies ever.

We got to the venue, it was a huge theatre, very nice, and Leb was excited his Mom and Sister were gonna get to see us at such a classy joint. Well, actually the venue was sort of a Campus Christian Crusade. All they sold was espresso, no drip, so we got way too jacked up and rushed the entire set. I got to talking to a group of high school kids later and told them about positive vibes being this world's only truth.

We made some friends and hung out in a tractor graveyard. The next day we met up with Leb's parents for coffee and cruised over to a pretty zen garden for more friend time.

We drove to Spokane and Gus' Mom made us the bomb panini sandwiches and we got to meet all of Gus' family, including his Grandparents.

On the way to our show in downtown Spokane our engine overheated and we had to park the RV (which will from here on be reffered to as 'The Escaper'). Gus' Parents brought us their truck and we squeezed on down the highway and said good bye to the Escaper in the Denny's parking lot.
